This website was created as part of project Chanology.
Chanology started in January 2008 with the release of a now famous video on Youtube about the dismantling of the Cult of Scientology, their media/internet censorship, and Scientology’s fraud and abuse.

Chanology caught the interest of many creative people, and within a few weeks hundreds of videos were created.
Now, half a year later, there are probably more than 2500 videos on sites like Youtube and Vimeo, and at least 80 new videos appear each week.

In August 2008, Scientology tried to remove thousands of videos from Youtube that were critical about Scientology by sending false DMCA request to Youtube (by some non-existing company).
After many complaints by Anonymous these videos were restored and can now be found at this website.

This website is an attempt to bring all those videos (from Youtube and Vimeo) together, and keep track of all new videos that Anonymous delivers.

We are aware of the fact that you have been important to us. You offered a platform to people who speak out against censorship, abuse, as well as many other things.
However, you’ve shown many times that you are unable to make the right decisions on your own. Only after complaints of hundreds or thousands of users, you are willing to listen. You are often a tool in the hands of fraudulent corporations, evil regimes and abusive cults. You have taken down videos of users who simply spoke out against evil and abuse.
Just a reminder: there are many video-websites out there, all of them offer better services, and you are easily replaceable.
